Taekwondo is a full medal Olympic Sport. We offer World Class Olympic
Competitive Sport Taekwondo training program for dedicated Team Nevada
Taekwondo athletes.
Athletes are coached by proven former National and International Champions who
have "been there - done that" and have coached both individual athletes and
National Teams to success in National and International competition.
We also teach a traditional
program in this Korean Martial
Art for those interested in
recreation, physical fitness,
personal improvement and
self-defense. Classes are
challenging, fun and include
instruction in the traditional
moral and ethical fabric of
Korean Martial Arts.
Hapkido ia a complete Martial Art considered by many
authorities to be the most effective system for
self-defense and personal protection available to the
general public. Master Tapia has taught federal and
local law enforcement officers Hapkido techniques for
effective disarming, submission and control. If you are
serious about acquiring the knowledge and skills to
confidently dominate and master any confrontation this
is the program for you.
Taught by international fighting champion
George Fuller, this tough, fast moving class
teaches fundamental strategy and striking
skills for defensive combat as well as
in-the-ring competition.
Competitive kickboxers are some of the best
conditioned athletes in the world. This class
will get anyone Fighting Fit!
Our staff volunteers support the operation of this local non-profit
community youth sports program founded by our Head of
Academy, Master George Tapia.
The League was created for the purpose of providing local
amateur Team Nevada Taekwondo athletes with a regular venue
for practicing and improving their sparring skills.
In 2006 the League sent eight Team Nevada athletes to the US
Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships and supported five of
them with $1,080.00 assistance.
